Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza arrives for the Videocon Challenge Tennis Tournament in Siliguri.
The 19-year-old from Hyderabad paired with Rohan Bopanna for a mixed doubles game against Shikha Uberoi and eight-time Grand Slam champion Mahesh Bhupathi on Wednesday.
Though Sania was the darling of the crowd, the Shikha-Bhupathi pair won the match 3-6, 6-2, 10-2.
At the opening ceremony, Sania won the hearts of the crowd by speaking a line in Bengali.
“Kemon achhe Siliguri, bhalo to (Hope Siliguri is feeling good)? It’s good to be back here."
